We recently appraised a hotel for a lender client. In doing our usual due diligence, the hotel owner was surprised by our professionalism and wrote this kind letter to me to praise the efforts of Nick Davis, our Hospitality leader. When property owners or clients are surprised, I often wonder why? I often wonder what their past experiences with other appraisers have been like? The answers are usually not as rosy as one would hope. Nonetheless, we are constantly trying to set a standard in our industry, and this letter is proof that we are out there making a good name for appraisers, and we hope others will follow suit.
